Matt Armstrong

Mr. Armstrong is the Director of Multifamily & Affordable Housing at Franklin Street Insurance Services, a role he has held since 2021. With a strong background in risk management and insurance, Mr. Armstrong brings a wealth of expertise to his work, applying his knowledge to the multifamily and affordable housing sectors. His career includes significant experience in insurance marketing, sales, and underwriting, which he gained through positions at Allied Trust Insurance Company and American Strategic Insurance Company. Mr. Armstrong’s passion for affordable housing and multifamily commercial real estate drives his commitment to delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet the unique needs the affordable housing industry.

Mr. Armstrong is also a dedicated member of the Board of Directors at Affordable Housing Preservation Corporation, where he leverages his professional experience to support the organization’s mission. A proud alumnus of Florida State University, Mr. Armstrong remains actively engaged in his community and alumni network. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys the outdoors, college football, and contributing to the ongoing efforts to improve access to quality housing for all.
