AHPC is at the forefront of redefining affordable housing. Our communities serve a broad range of households, including families, students, veterans, and seniors.
Affordable Housing Preservation Corp (AHPC) is a nonprofit developer, owner and operator of several thousand affordable housing units across the United States. Formed in 2021 as a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, it is our mission to share the joy of enabling affordable housing with everyone. Working closely with our partners, and help from individuals such as yourself, we are making positive impacts in the lives of those who could not otherwise afford permanent housing.
With the help of our partners, we aim to provide opportunities to nurture and transform families, homes, students, and communities one at a time. We strive to accomplish this objective through buying, rehabilitating, and preserving existing properties or developing new ones.
We aim to supply quality, long-term affordable housing opportunities to the communities that need it most.
Physical Services
Our partners include both regional and national property management companies. These partners oversee our physical properties and manage day-to-day operations. They coordinate with local vendors and on-site team members in the daily operations of the properties. AHPC seeks to find partners that believe in our vision and join us in a collaborative effort to fulfill our mission.
In addition to the physical oversight, we form partnerships to provide resident services to members of our communities.
Community is good for both people and business. Unfortunately, many apartment residents feel completely disconnected from their neighbors. AHPC believes belonging to a community and knowing and helping your neighbors is just as important as the physical place where one rests their head for the night. Hence, we form partnerships with organizations to oversee the social needs of our residents.
AHPC is implementing Resident Service Coordinators across our properties. Service coordinators will interact first-hand with residents – right on the property. The goal of Resident Service Coordinators is to assist residents in finding help to meet their essential needs, as well as provide opportunities for residents to join in building 'community' as they get to know their neighbors. Services will include community-building activities, financial resources/education, community partnerships, youth programming, adult educational workshops, and employment assistance.
